“Dear Purplebone Community, Purplebone has always been deeply committed to putting our dogs, customers and staff at the centre of all we do. Our core values guide us when we think about all of you who have been affected in any way by COVID-19 and the impact on our lives and jobs. In these uncharted waters we will continue to operate with you in mind first, which is why I am writing to you with regard to the actions we are taking to help keep you and our community healthy and safe.
First, we are following all relevant guidance from HM Government and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). We have increased our cleaning and sanitation of our stores and grooming parlours, we have advised our staff on safety protocols of regular hand washing, no face touching and minimal physical contact between humans. Dogs seem to be unaffected by the corona virus.
Secondly, we are encouraging our staff to prioritise their health, and if they are feeling sick, to stay at home.
We recognise that you have many priorities in these unprecedented times but Purplebone is there for you, available 24/7 at Purplebone.com. You can also find our opening hours here.
We will continue to actively monitor this situation and provide information and updates that we think will help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 crisis, to stay safe and get our normal lives back!
On behalf of shareholders and staff of Purplebone, we are thanking you for being a loyal customer and a part of our community.
Warm regards, Jacob van Nieuwkoop. B.be Czn Managing Director”
