Generally these terms and conditions apply to all transactions. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully. We may change these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non- exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions. Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age. All orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you by telephone or e-mail).

When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you (re-)visit one of our nationwide stores.

+ - Price & Payment

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and, where appropriate, are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) but exclusive of delivery charges. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative or suggest that you (re-)visit one of our stores.

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in-store.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

+ - Shipping & Postage

We know how important it is to get your delivery to you as quickly and conveniently as possible, and we offer a range of express and standard options. Please refer to the prices in the shipping page to check delivery information for your country; please select the option that suits you best at the checkout page. Orders are dispatched as soon as our e-commerce team are available, this is usually the same day or within 1 business day. Orders placed on a Friday after 4pm will be dispatched the following Monday, though we will endeavour to have them dispatched on the Friday itself. For domestic UK orders we offer free returns through Royal Mail. For returns please refer to our returns policy page.

For International orders, customers need to provide us with correct shipping location information known to any and all shipping couriers. The customer will be charged for the postage of the second dispatch, if one’s order is returned to Purplebone due to incorrect mail information initially being provided. Purplebone holds the rights to deny a refund of the shipping if a customer does not pay for the second round of postage and expects a refund. If you live in a country who’s local mail is unreliable, do not choose the Royal Mail options at checkout, alternatively please choose DHL otherwise your order will be cancelled.

+ - VAT and Customs

Customers ordering from outside the European Economic Area will not be charged the 20% VAT included in the price of nearly everything we sell. This discount is applied at the checkout once you have chosen which country your order is being delivered to.

Any customs or import duties are charged by local customs agencies once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

+ - Allergy Information

We try to make our treats accessible to all dogs by making them free from grain, gluten free and hypo-allergenic. In addition, generally all Purplebone treats are free from additives, artificial colours, flavours and preservatives meaning they are suitable for dogs with food intolerances. If your dog requires any other allergy arrangements please contact us.

+ - Shipping and Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise indicated at the time of your purchase, shipping and handling fees are included with your order. Shipping dates and/or arrival times are only estimates. For loss/damage claims, you must notify Purplebone within 30 days of the date of your purchase if you believe all or part of your order is missing or damaged.

Replacement of Products and credits to your account for shipped merchandise claimed as not received are subject to our investigation, which may include postal-service notification. We will adjust your account at our discretion. Repeated claims of undelivered merchandise may result in the cancellation of your membership.
