Frequently Asked Questions about the Purplebox

  • When will my Purplebox be shipped?

The cutoff date to order a box is on the 10th of each month. All boxes will be shipped at the same time and should arrive between the 15th-20th of each month. After the 10th you will no longer be able to order the current box and orders will begin to be accepted for the next month’s box.


  • Can I order additional items when I buy my box?

You will be able to purchase additional items whilst buying your subscription. Due to our set delivery date regarding our boxes, your additional items will be packed and shipped asap – separately from your box to avoid any delays.

  • I have subscribed to a ‘small’ dog box but now realize that I need larger toys, (or vice versa) can I switch?

  • Do you offer a box for dogs with allergies?

All of our boxes are filled with of own brand treats that are gluten free, free from grain and hypo-allergenic. As well as free from additives, artificial colours, flavours and preservatives meaning they are suitable for more sensitive dogs with food intolerances. If your dog has any specific requirements please email and we’ll do our best to structure a box to meet your dog’s needs!


  • After subscribing for 1/6/12 months, can I edit my subscription length?

Yes, it’s very simple to edit your subscription length by following this process – ‘My account’ – ‘Subscription Totals’ – ‘Upgrade or Downgrade’. Normally recurring subscription payments would be taken out on the 10th of each month. However, when switching your subscription length, the payment for that next month will be taken out on the day you switch and not on the 10th.


  • When / How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by visiting the ‘My Account’ section on our website.

You can cancel your subscription at any time before the 10th of the month you will not be charged for the next month or receive your box for said retrospective month.

If you cancel on, or any time after the 11th of the month then you will still be charged and receive your current month’s box.


  • Will my contract auto renew?

Your Purplebox contract will not automatically renew, however its simple to do once your current plan has expired. Simply go to our website – ‘My Account’ – ‘View Subscriptions’ – ‘Resubscribe’. This will renew the plan that you were previously on with the card details previously used.


  • Can I change my shipping address if I have purchased the box as a gift for someone else?

We want to make it as easy as possible to purchase a Purplebox for whoever might want one. If you are making a one off purchase for a box, you will be able to enter a different billing and shipping address per purchase meaning it’s easy to buy a Purplebox as a gift!

In regards to automatic recurring payments you can also change your shipping address if you want it to arrive elsewhere. Simply visit our website – Go to ‘My Account’ – ‘View Subscriptions’ – ‘Change address’.


  • If I don’t live in the UK, can I still purchase a Purplebox? If so, how much is postage?

Yes! You can still purchase a Purplebox wherever you are on the globe. Currently postage to EU countries is £7 and £10 worldwide.
